Eric J. Tait
Eric Tait was born and raised in Clackamas County. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oregon and received his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University. He began the practice of law in 1995. He is now licensed to practice law in both Oregon, Washington and in Federal Court. Eric is married with two children and enjoys spending his free time skiing and biking with his family.
Eric began his career working in Oregon City handling general litigation, personal injury claims, and insurance defense. After ten years of private practice, Eric took a job working as staff counsel for a national insurance company. Eric spent three years there before forming Cole Tait with law partner Andrew Cole.
Eric's primary areas of practice include personal injury, insurance, wrongful death, auto accidents, biking accidents, and business litigation. Eric has successfully pursued claims in Clackamas County, the Portland area, and throughout Oregon.
Eric is a member of the Clackamas County and Federal Bar. He serves as a Pro Temp Judge for Clackamas County and is on the Clackamas County Arbitration Commission.
